Job description

We are seeking to recruit a manager who will be responsible for the management and day to day running of the Integrated Equipment Service within Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership.

The service issues, repairs and maintains equipment which is supplied to service users to enable them to live as independently as possible within the community.

The post holder is responsible for the safe and efficient day to day running of the service and is responsible for the management of staff within the Integrated Equipment Service.  You will provide technical management, expertise and leadership within the service and across agencies and other organisations.

You should be educated to degree level and hold a technical degree or a relevant professional qualification relating to the post requirements e.g. Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport CILT Level 5 or Chartered Institute of Procurement CIPS Level 4d.

Relevant technical experience working in a precision environment working with electrical and mechanical equipment is required.

In addition, you should be able to demonstrate significant work experience in a warehousing environment including stock control and stock management.  Experience in Asset Management Systems would be desirable.

A relevant Health and Safety Qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate) is required.

The anticipated start date for this appointment will be the 1st February 2018.
