To complement its new HR Toolkit resource, Business Loch Lomond has commenced a series of HR Management development workshops, designed specifically for tourism and hospitality SME's and delivered by expert trainers.
The workshops provide business owners and managers with the opportunity to attend workshops designed around particular topics relating to the employment of staff.
Topics include how to train staff to meet standards of service, motivating staff through coaching and appraisals and difficult conversations such as disciplinary or grievance discussions.
The first workshop, focusing on employment law, took place in November 2017.
Stuart Cordner, Managing Director of Cruise Loch Lomond said:
“I attended the Employment Law Workshop on 16 November 2017 organised by Business Loch Lomond. The workshop proved invaluable giving a very current and informative session on legislation. The facilitator John Wilson was highly experienced on the subject and delivered the session in a relaxed manner with plenty of interaction with delegates. I would strongly recommend businesses take advantage of the workshop series."
