Employees will leave you at some point. When this happens, it is important that you have the processes in place to ensure their departure is seamless and that you seek feedback from them on their experience of working for you.

2. Exit Interviews

Employees ending their contract of employment with you - whether it is due to the end of their fixed term contract, having found a new job with another employer or indeed retirement - can provide you with honest feedback in relation to what they think your company does well and what they believe could be improved.  This feedback can help shape vacancies and support improved practices.
